Angel/seed-stage investments are made primarily based on 2 factors:
- Primary factor: Our understanding of the founders
- Secondary factor: The space they are in / the problem they are trying to solve
We look for 3 things from the founders:
- Intellect: Who can problem solve creatively, are able to navigate across different abstraction layers, and are resourceful.
- Tenacity: Highly conscientious people who work hard, are relentless, and don’t give up.
- Integrity: Who will consistently do the right things and build lasting trust with people.
We invest primarily in technology companies that have potential to impact the world/universe at scale. We look at the problem they are trying to solve, the market they are in, and/or the product they are building. The initial idea may look small, and that’s okay. We’ll imagine with you on how big the idea can possibly become.
